Grosvenor Lodge came to MTPD with requirements to train their staff in an Industry Skill Set from the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
This Industry Skill Set was packaged together by MTPD in line with the requirements from Grosvenor Lodge highlighting the skills gap that was lacking in their workplace and in a way that would allow the staff to use their new skills and accreditation to train, assess and mentor new staff.
The three units included were; TAEDEL301 Provide work skill instruction, TAEASS402 Assess competence and TAEDEL404 Mentor in the workplace. These units were focused towards the needs of the staff and the activities were tailored to use real scenarios that would happen in their own workplace. To ensure the training was convenient for Grosvenor Lodge, MTPD sent a trainer out to their premises at a time that suited the staff rosters. The staff engaged in interactive tasks, group work and facilitator-led discussions to build their skills and consolidate their knowledge whilst gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Feedback provided by Grosvenor Lodge included finding the administrative staff helpful and courteous, rating the course content as very high quality and being very satisfied with the trainer.
